This Legal Disclaimer applies to the use and application of Thermexor glass coating products. Please read this information carefully before using the product.

1. Intended Use

Thermexor products are designed for application to compatible glass surfaces only, including suitable automotive glass where specifically indicated.

Do not apply the product to non-glass surfaces unless Thermexor expressly states in writing that the surface is compatible.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Plastic

• Acrylic

• Polycarbonate

• Rubber

• Leather

• Fabric

• Painted surfaces

• Vehicle trim

• Metal

• Screens or displays

• Interior decorative materials

• Other non-glass surfaces

Accidental contact with surrounding surfaces should be cleaned promptly in accordance with the product instructions.

Thermexor is not responsible for staining, discoloration, corrosion, surface damage, loss of gloss, or other damage resulting from application to an unsuitable or non-glass surface, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

2. Installation Responsibility

Thermexor products may require cleaning, preparation, application, leveling, curing, and other installation procedures.

The customer or installer is responsible for following the instructions provided with the product.

Installation results may be affected by factors including:

• Surface cleanliness

• Existing coatings or treatments

• Glass condition

• Application technique

• Amount of product applied

• Application tools

• Temperature and humidity

• Curing time

• Dust or contamination

• Water exposure during curing

• Improper cleaning before application

• Failure to follow the provided instructions

Installation errors, unsuccessful installation, improper application, or failure to follow the installation instructions are not considered product defects and are not covered by our product warranty.

3. Installation Failure Is Not a Warranty Claim

Thermexor warrants the product itself in accordance with any warranty expressly provided with the product.

However, we do not warrant the quality of installation performed by the customer, an independent installer, workshop, detailing company, or any other third party.

Examples of installation-related issues that are generally not covered include:

• Uneven application

• Streaks or application marks

• Missed areas

• Excessive or insufficient coating

• Contamination during application

• Improper surface preparation

• Improper curing

• Damage caused by incorrect tools

• Application to an incompatible surface

• Failure caused by incorrect installation procedures

If the product itself is defective, your rights under our Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

4. Performance Warranty vs. Installation Appearance

Thermexor's product claims relate to the functional performance of the product after it has been correctly applied and properly cured on a compatible glass surface.

Where applicable, such performance may include characteristics such as:

• Solar heat reduction

• Infrared reduction

• UV reduction

• Glare reduction

• Other performance characteristics expressly stated for the product

Thermexor does not guarantee the cosmetic appearance or workmanship of an installation performed by the customer or a third party.

The final visual appearance may vary depending on application technique, glass condition, surface preparation, environmental conditions, and installer experience.

Visible installation marks, unevenness, streaking, contamination, or similar cosmetic issues caused by application technique are not evidence that the product itself is defective.

5. Performance May Vary

Product performance may vary depending on factors outside Thermexor's control, including:

• Glass type

• Glass thickness

• Existing factory tint

• Existing coatings

• Laminated or treated glass

• Vehicle design

• Glass angle and orientation

• Solar intensity

• Ambient temperature

• Climate

• Application thickness

• Curing conditions

• Age and condition of the glass

Performance figures, demonstrations, infrared lamp tests, temperature tests, photographs, videos, laboratory data, and other materials published by Thermexor demonstrate product characteristics under particular conditions.

They should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every vehicle, glass surface, environment, or installation will produce identical numerical results.

6. Glass Compatibility

Thermexor products should only be used on glass that is suitable for the particular product.

Some automotive glass may contain factory-applied coatings, films, laminates, surface treatments, or other technologies that may affect compatibility.

If you are unsure whether your glass is suitable, contact Thermexor before application.

We strongly recommend testing the product on a small and inconspicuous area before treating the entire glass surface where compatibility is uncertain.

7. Do Not Apply to Non-Glass Vehicle Components

When applying Thermexor products to automotive glass, take appropriate precautions to protect nearby components.

The product should not be intentionally applied to surrounding materials such as:

• Headliners

• Interior trim

• Rubber seals

• Plastic panels

• Painted surfaces

• Leather

• Upholstery

• Electronic displays

• Sensors or electronic components

Any damage resulting from intentional or accidental application to unsuitable surfaces is outside the scope of our product warranty, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

8. Professional Installation

Thermexor products may be designed for DIY application where indicated.

However, customers who are uncertain about the installation process should consider using an experienced installer.

Use of a professional installer does not create an employment, agency, partnership, or other legal relationship between Thermexor and that installer unless the installer has been expressly authorized by Thermexor.

Thermexor is not responsible for the workmanship, conduct, charges, or installation errors of independent third-party installers.

9. Customer Responsibility

Before using the product, the customer is responsible for:

• Reading the complete installation instructions

• Confirming that the intended surface is glass

• Confirming that the glass is suitable for the product

• Preparing the glass correctly

• Protecting surrounding non-glass surfaces

• Following application and curing requirements

• Using appropriate installation tools

• Stopping installation if unexpected surface reactions occur

Continuing to apply the product after observing an obvious compatibility issue may increase the risk of damage.

10. Product Defects

This disclaimer does not mean that Thermexor refuses responsibility for genuine product defects.

11. Limitation of Warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Thermexor's warranty applies to the product and its stated performance when:

1. The product is genuine and within its intended usable condition;

2. The product is applied to a compatible glass surface;

3. The installation instructions are correctly followed;

4. The recommended preparation and curing procedures are followed; and

5. The product has not been misused, contaminated, modified, or improperly stored.

The warranty does not constitute a guarantee of installation workmanship, cosmetic finish, installer skill, or identical results across all vehicles and environments.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Legal Disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any consumer guarantee, statutory warranty, right to refund, right to replacement, or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where applicable consumer protection law provides rights that are more favorable to the customer, those statutory rights will apply.
